Language Resource Center

The LRC is a specialized use computer laboratory and computer teaching facility open to UNLV students and faculty. We offer multimedia resources (movies, books, cds) for foreign language and English language learners, as well as RebelPrint services.

Classrooms

The LRC has one classroom (FDH 241), and one computer teaching facility (FDH 240) with 20 desktop computers. Reservations can be made through laura.madrid@unlv.edu.

Specialized Use Lab

Lab Rules

The UNLV computer labs are provided to support the academic computer needs of all currently enrolled UNLV students. Use of the labs for other purposes, commercial or otherwise, is prohibited. The rules below are intended to maintain an environment in the labs where all students can work effectively.

In addition to the rules established by the Office of Information Technology, the listed rules also apply to the Language Resource Center:

  1. Food and drinks are not permitted in the Language Resource Center.
  2. A RebelCard is required to check out any materials from the Language Resource Center.
  3. Lab Patrons are not permitted to remove materials from the Language Resource Center for any reason.
